Navodaya Admission 2023 Class 6 Eligibility Conditions
Students can apply for Navodaya 6 2023 admission at JNV in their district.
Students must be born on or after May 1, 2010 and before April 30, 2014 (both dates count). To apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023 Class 6, students must be studying in Class 5 at an accredited school during the academic year 2022-23.
Students who have not been promoted to the 5th grade or enrolled until September 15, 2023 will not be able to apply. Students applying for Navodaya Admissions 2023 Class 6 with rural quota must study and pass Class 3, 4 and 5 at an accredited school in rural areas.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6th Admiss 2023 on Eligibility
To apply for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya class 6 2023-24, candidates must be studying in class 5 in a government or accredited school during the session 2022-23.
Navodaya Vidyalaya is a fifth grader studying in an accredited/public school in the same district. Candidates must pass the annual Level 5 exam.
Candidates who have not passed and entered 5th grade before 15 September 2022 are not eligible to apply. Applicants must attend all 5th grade classes in the district they wish to attend.
Candidates in the urban area
Candidates who attended school in an urban area for at least one day in the 3rd, 4th or 5th grades are considered urban.
For national candidates
Candidates seeking admission under the Girmin Quota must study a full semester of Grades III, IV and V at a school located in a rural area.
Age limit for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6th 2023 admission
For admission, Class VI applicants must be born between May 1, 2010 and April 30, 2014. Applicants seeking admission must be studying in Class III, IV, or V at an accredited/public school. Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination cannot be retaken.

How to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam?
To apply online for Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam visit the official website navodaya.gov.in.
Step 1 In the reception window on the main page

4- Uploads (Photo and Signature of the candidate, Signature of the parent and completed certificate have to be uploaded)
- Upload student photos in jpg/jpeg format between 10-100kb.
- Upload student signatures in jpg/jpeg format between 10-100kb. Upload parent signature in jpg/jpeg format between 10-100kb.
- Please upload the certificate in jpg/jpeg format between 50-300kb. You can download the certificate of completion from the official website, fill it and upload the signatures of students and parents.
- Enter all the above information and click the “SUBMIT AND REVIEW” button.
- Click and once read the complete form carefully, if there is any error, correct it by clicking on EDIT. and submit the final.
Now a jnvs registration no. Note down which will be received and also take a print out by clicking on PRINT.
JNVS Class VI Admission Test Exam Centre
Each student can take the selection test only at the test center indicated on the admission card. You cannot apply to any other test center. It is not possible to change the test site. as the message says. Candidates must download the admit card before going to the exam hall as they cannot enter the exam hall without the admit card.
Required certificate after selection in Navodaya Vidyalaya
After selection in Navodaya Vidyalaya, the following certificates will be required.
- i- date of birth
- ii- Eligibility Certificate as per Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti conditions
- iii- Parents of rural students must prove that their child studied in a rural school/institution.

About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyala
In 1986, in line with the national education policy, the Indian government established Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Currently, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya operates in 27 states and 8 confederations. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a boarding school fully funded by the Government of India and managed by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is based on the 6th level entrance exam. Students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya take the CBSE exam.
Students are provided with free education, food, accommodation, uniforms and study materials. Through Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi, students from class 9 to 12 are charged just Rs.600. per month but exempt for SC/ST/BPL and female students.
In addition, children of civil servants must pay 5 million won. 1500/- Monthly Development Fund or Actual Child Allowance received by the parent whichever is less.
